The festival is created, driven, and continuously developed by us: Lea Han and Gustav Piekut.
Besides both being pianists — with a strong passion for sharing the wonderful world of classical music — we are also good friends.
We feel extremely grateful to be able to combine these two elements and create something that we feel is important, not just to us, but also to the people around us.
We wish to curate a truly authentic and creative environment, where we can explore the abundance of classical music together with you all.
In our process with composing the program, we have a certain holistic awareness: it is not about selective movements or pieces, but for the concerts to be wholesome and thorough experiences. The level is highly professional, as we are proud to be able to present some of the most gifted young musicians on their respective instruments from Denmark and abroad, all appearing on turns in the concerts, completing the full festival.
It is our hope to change the approach towards classical music to be a bit more open and accessible — in short, a bit friendlier. Big shout out to our amazing graphic designer Marcus Melo. The festival wouldn’t be half as popular if it weren’t for his tireless work and quirky ideas.
